Up, Down, and Same
An example of elementary music classroom teaching and classroom management. This is a 1st grade lesson plan I made during my student teaching to build upon the idea of "same" and "different" notes. The children are asked to individually tell me not only if the notes are the same or different, but also if the notes on the projector are the same, up, or down. What is difficult to see on the projector are the bingo chips that I am using as my moveable notes. I keep the chips on a blown up treble staff so not only are my students seeing the notes moving up and down, but they are also familiarizing themselves with the staff. The video begins with a vocal warm up that is also used for classroom management. As soon as the students step into the room, they are expected to participate within the music class.
Harp Basics
This is a film I created to not only demonstrate my proficiency with technology use in the classroom and for teaching, but also to demonstrate the basic functions and how to play the harp. This is an example of instrumental music instruction. I would recommend someone to watch this film before or after their first harp lesson, just to be informed on how the harp works and functions.

This is a sample of my harp playing skills. I perform this song frequently as a harp demonstration for my students, as well as events that I am paid to perform at.

This is a collaboration with a local vocalist featuring my harp playing.
